Conditions for Participation/Entry Form

The camlog foundation intends to fund young scientists and practising clinicians interested in scientific advances. A research prize is an appropriate tool for this purpose since it targets well-motivated, application-oriented individuals and groups. The presentation and recognition of the award-winning work is one of the special features of the International CAMLOG Congresses – it is reserved for young professionals, only. As the official scientific arm of CAMLOG, the camlog foundation is dedicated and authorized to initiate and evaluate research work in such fields.

For participants

Creation of networking opportunities with opinion leaders on the Scientific Board of the camlog foundation.

For the camlog foundation

Acting as a launching pad for significant publications of young and early-career authors.

Schedule

9/10 May, 2008 Presentation and initiation of the first round of the scientific competition (Congress 08) for the research prize of the camlog foundation 2008/2009.
By Oct. 2009 Processing and publication of the results by the participants. Submission of the works to the camlog foundation.
By March 2010 Judging of the submitted works by the scientific jury of the camlog foundation, consisting of members of the Foundation Board and the Scientific Board.
Congress (2010) Prize award. Presentation of the award-winning work by the grant recipient. Presentation of the second round of the scientific competition for the research prize of the camlog foundation.

Topic specifications

To be eligible for this competition, research work must be performed in one of the following fields with clinical, dental laboratory or basic knowledge content:

Conceptual approaches to lasting results in implant dentistry
Concepts for optimal white and red esthetics
Convincing long-term results.

Requests for proposals and application

The competition for the research prize of the camlog foundation will be advertised via a folder, an advertisement in the customer newsletter "Logo" and other professional journals if necessary, as well as on the camlog foundation website. CAMLOG subsidiaries and distributors will promote the competition by appropriate methods in their territories.

The application must be made either by post/mail or online, with use of the prescribed application form in either case. By signing the application form, participants also confirm that they accept the conditions for participation and will observe them.
